Post-Game Quotes
Jeff Mittie TCU Head Coach
Opening Statement:
"This is kind of where we are at. We cannot make the plays to get over the hump. I thought we made some youthful mistakes tonight, but I think the big thing is that everyone sees the big picture. We have been in the last three and four minutes of a lot of games and for me our effort, energy and aggressiveness are the bigger picture for me tonight."

On overall aggressiveness:
"I do not think we were very aggressive tonight. We have to get more people rebounding other than LT, but obviously with three pointers there are going to be a lot of long rebounds. I thought we were beaten out of a lot of plays, particularly in the early part of this basketball game. Many of their points came after second and third opportunities."

Deb Patterson, K-State Head Coach
Opening Statement:
"This game is what you might call an ugly win. I really thought Kamy Cole and Zahna Medley kept them in the game with those three pointers. Fortunately, we were able to withstand that and rebound the ball on a high level tonight. Our defense wasn't exactly stellar but we had enough defensive rebounds to keep us in the game."

On setting a new record for three-point attempts:
"Against that zone we need to just take the shots available and those were the shots they were giving us. Chantay Caron had some looks aside but we didn't necessarily convert. We take the shots that we get. They do a nice job with what they get. This year we don't have a lot of size or power."

Overall thoughts:
"I had hoped we would have been better against TCU tonight than we were. They do a great job in their zone and TCU always has a competitive mindset with good character that they show in competing. We gave up some open looks and I think they earned every shot they got in the second half."
