FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) - Sandora Irvin had her eighth straight double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds for No. 17 TCU, which beat Marquette 56-47 Friday night.

Irvin also blocked eight shots for the Lady Frogs (21-4, 10-2 Conference USA), Ebony Shaw led TCU with 16 points, and Natasha Lacy pulled down a career-high 14 rebounds.

Carolyn Kieger led Marquette (18-7, 8-4) with 12 points.

The Golden Eagles were plagued by 25-percent shooting for the game.

The Lady Frogs led 24-13 at halftime.
