Both teams entered in a second-place tie in the conference.

TCU (22-4, 11-2) trailed for most of the first half and by as many as eight points before a 19-5 run in the final seven minutes gave them a 39-30 lead at halftime. DePaul (22-4, 10-3) was just 1-for-6 from the field during that stretch.

Irvin scored seven of the Lady Frogs' first 12 points of the second half as TCU extended its lead during a 12-4 run in the first three minutes of the second half

Kim Ortega had 12 points for TCU and Natasha Lacy and Tiffany Evans each added 10 points as four Lady Frogs players scored in double figures.

Ashley Luke led DePaul with 15 points, and Khara Smith had 14 points and 16 rebounds.

TCU will have a chance to claim a share of the Conference USA regular-season title when it plays first-place Houston on Friday. DePaul finished the regular season with consecutive losses to Houston and TCU, and can't finish above a tie for second-place.
