TCU Dismantles No. 12 DePaul, 73-53

FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) - Sandora Irvin had 19 points and 11 rebounds, and No. 17 TCU eliminated No. 12 DePaul from the Conference USA regular-season title race with a 73-53 victory Sunday.
Both teams entered in a second-place tie in the conference.
TCU (22-4, 11-2) trailed for most of the first half and by as many as eight points before a 19-5 run in the final seven minutes gave them a 39-30 lead at halftime. DePaul (22-4, 10-3) was just 1-for-6 from the field during that stretch.
Irvin scored seven of the Lady Frogs' first 12 points of the second half as TCU extended its lead during a 12-4 run in the first three minutes of the second half
Ashley Luke led DePaul with 15 points, and Khara Smith had 14 points and 16 rebounds.
TCU will have a chance to claim a share of the Conference USA regular-season
title when it plays first-place Houston on Friday. DePaul finished the regular
season with consecutive losses to Houston and TCU, and can't finish above a tie
