FORT WORTH, Texas - Following a standout career at Springfield High School in Illinois, Zahna Medley possesses a skill set at the point guard position that could make a huge splash for the Horned Frogs in the Big 12 Conference.

Medley, who was a first-team selection on the Champaign-Urbana News-Gazette Girls All-State Basketball Team this past year, helped Springfield finish fourth overall at the Class 3A Girls State Basketball Tournament.  During her four-year career, Medley, who has scored a career-high of 37 points, racked up a total of 2,617 points, the most in school history by either a male or female. She averaged 24.2 points per game during her senior campaign, while connecting on 79 3-pointers. Medley, a three-time State Journal-Register Central State Eight Conference Player of the Year, averaged 50.4 percent from the field and over 80 percent from the charity stripe. She holds program records for assists (531), 3-pointers made (264) and attempted (667), steals (435), double-figure games (123), free throws made (525) and attempted (668), games played (139), field goals made (910) and attempts (1,876).
