TCU 91, East Central 59
There’s some good, there’s some bad. We’ll take a look at it and see where we are at. I saw a few things we did better today than last time. I think in certain stretches we played better together. We seem to be talking more on offense, that’s a big help offensively when they are connecting and communicating. It was better today than in our closed scrimmage.
About the three-point:
I think it is going to depend on how the other team plays us. I mean tonight they gave us the three so we took it. They seemed to be a little afraid of the dribble and that gave us some opportunities. I do think we have a better shooting team than we did a year ago.
About points off the board:
We had a physical advantage and I don’t know we used it as well as we should have. I did not think we got the ball inside as well as we should have. We’ll take that kind of rebound advantage any night. We did try to play the bigger line-up more minutes tonight. We have not worked with that much and it will just be part of this team's growing process.
About the bigger line-up:
I think down the road we are going to have to play the bigger line-up in stretches and in order to play that line-up we have got to see how the pieces fit together.
This group is still learning to play hard on every position. They are still learning that everything matters. That is critical. I think they are about where they should be for nine of our thirteen being underclassmen. They’re still learning to compete at every practice and in every drill.
