FORT WORTH, Texas -- The TCU Lady Frogs, rated 20th in the preseason ESPN/USA Today poll, posted a 95-59 victory over RTU Klondaika in TCU's first exhibition game of the season. The Frogs, who had just nine players available for game duty, led the Latvian traveling squad 53-23 at halftime.

Sandora Irvin led all players with 24 points and 11 rebounds. She connected on 10-of-22 shots on the day, and played a team-high 34 minutes. Joining Irvin in double-figure scoring were Candace Baldwin (16), Amy Pack (14), Ebony Shaw (12), Kim Ortega (10) and Tracy Wynn (10). Baldwin was a perfect 5-of-5 from the field, including 3-for-3 from three-point range.

"I saw some good things out there today," TCU head coach Jeff Mittie said. "It was nice to play somebody with a different color jersey on. We were able to get some kids a lot of minutes today and that was important."

TCU dominated on the glass, holding a 54-37 rebounding margin. TCU attempted 82 shots on the afternoon, while RTU Klondaika managed just 51 attempts. TCU committed just nine turnovers and forced 24 RTU miscues. Five players made their Lady Frog debuts: Pack, Ortega, Wynn, Lindsey Prewitt and Andrea Honer.

The Lady Frogs will complete the exhibition portion of their season with a game against the Oklahoma Flyers on Friday, Nov. 15 at 7:00 p.m. TCU begins the regular season on Friday, Nov. 22 at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum with a game against the Utah Utes at 5:15 p.m.
