FORT WORTH, Texas -- The TCU Lady Frogs completed the exhibition portion of their 2002-03 schedule with a 72-65 victory over the Oklahoma Flyers on Friday night at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum. With the result in the balance, TCU outscored the Flyers 9-2 in the game's final 3:12 to turn a tie score into a seven-point win.

Junior Amy Pack led the Lady Frogs with 14 points. Junior Ebony Shaw (12), sophomore Ashley Browning (10) and junior Tracy Wynn (10) joined Pack in double figures. Sophomore Sandora Irvin added nine points and a game-high 13 rebounds.

TCU went 28-for-73 (.384) from the field on the night, but connected on just 5-of-21 (.238) attempts from three-point range. The Frogs limited the Flyers to just 31 percent shooting from the floor (22-for-71). Oklahoma struggled inside the arc, going 11-for-39 (.282).

"This was a good test for us tonight," TCU head coach Jeff Mittie said. "The Flyers have a talented, well-coached team, and they gave us a great challenge. This game will help us in the long run."

TCU edged the Flyers 51-50 on the backboards in a game that featured six second-half lead changes. Ten Lady Frogs saw action in the contest.

TCU, rated 20th in the preseason ESPN/USA Today Coaches' Poll, begins the regular season on Friday, Nov. 22 at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum with a contest against the Utah Utes at 5:15 p.m.
