TCU Falls to No. 20 Oklahoma, 77-63

NORMAN, Okla. (AP) - Courtney Paris had 22 points and 17 rebounds to lead No. 20 Oklahoma to its third straight win, 77-63 over TCU on Wednesday night.
Paris, a freshman from Piedmont, Calif., recorded her fifth double-double of the season and shot 7-for-7 from the field and 8-for-11 from the line.
Ahead by eight at the break, Oklahoma (6-1) opened the second half with a 16-0 run, fueled by 3-pointers from Erin Higgins and Britney Brown.
Higgins, the Big 12 Conference 3-point leader, shot 4-for-8 from beyond the arc and finished with 16 points.
TCU has lost to three Top 25 opponents in the last nine days.
The Horned Frogs closed within 12 points with just under six minutes remaining. Paris answered with consecutive inside baskets, and the Sooners closed the game by shooting 10-for-10 from the line.
TCU led for nearly the first five minutes before the Sooners went on a 16-3 run to pull ahead 25-12 with seven minutes remaining.
Davis kept the Horned Frogs within striking difference early, hitting 5-of-7 3-pointers in the first half and scoring all 15 of her points in the first half.
Higgins led the Sooners in the first half with 11 points, including a 3-for-5 effort from 3-point range.
Oklahoma outrebounded TCU 50-28.
