FORT WORTH, Texas -- TCU women's basketball has earned a No. 24 ranking in both the AP Top 25 Poll and the USA Today Coaches Top 25 Poll, the program's first ranking in over seven years.

The Frogs last appeared in the AP Top 25 Poll on Nov. 22, 2010, when they were ranked No. 21. They last appeared in the USA Today Coaches Poll on Nov. 23, 2010, when they were ranked No. 25. TCU's No. 24 ranking in the coaches poll is its best in that poll since being No. 21 on Jan. 25, 2010.

In its program history, TCU has now spent 42 weeks in the AP Top 25 Poll with a highest ranking of No. 13 on Feb. 23, 2004. TCU has now spent 43 weeks in the USA Today Coaches Top 25 Poll with a highest ranking of No. 15 on two occasions, most recently on Mar. 1, 2004.

TCU (13-5, 4-3) began receiving votes in both polls last week previously beating No. 7 Texas and No. 15 West Virginia.

The Frogs have now won four straight Big 12 games, most recently over Kansas on Saturday, for the first time and return to action on Wednesday at Kansas State. TCU returns home to host Oklahoma on Saturday at Schollmaier Arena at 2 p.m.
