MANHATTAN, Kan. - The 24th-ranked TCU women's basketball team will put a four-game winning streak on the line on Wednesday when it takes on Kansas State at Bramlage Coliseum at 7 p.m.

TCU (13-5, 4-3) is nationally ranked for the first time since 2010 and has won four consecutive Big 12 games for the first time in its history in the league. Kansas State (11-8, 3-5) has played six ranked teams in its first eight Big 12 games, most recently falling at No. 4 Baylor on Saturday.

Last Time Out
After one of the biggest weeks in the program's recent history, TCU backed it up with a 76-66 win over Kansas at Schollmaier Arena on Saturday afternoon. The win gave TCU four straight Big 12 wins for the first time since they joined the league in 2012-13.

TCU got 43 combined points from its post players as Amy Okonkwo led the way with 24 and Jordan Moore added 19. It was Okonkwo's 11th consecutive game in double figures and Moore's seventh straight. Amber Ramirez added 14 points, including three 3-pointers, for the Frogs.

The Frogs trailed early after a slow start offensively, but after building a lead in the second quarter never trailed again. TCU led by as many as 13 points in the fourth quarter.

1. TCU is ranked in both top 25 polls for the first time in over seven years. The Frogs last appeared in the AP Top 25 Poll on Nov. 22, 2010, when they were ranked No. 21. TCU last appeared in the USA Today Coaches Top 25 Poll on Nov. 23, 2010, at No. 25.

2. The Frogs have won four consecutive Big 12 games for the first time since joining the league. TCU last won five consecutive conference games in 2010-11 when it opened Mountain West play with a 6-0 record. TCU's last five-game winning streak in any games was in 2013-14 when it closed nonconference play with five straight wins.

3. TCU won its last road game, beating No. 15 West Virginia in overtime on January 13. The Frogs have never won back-to-back Big 12 road games. They have already won four games away from home this season and have not won more than five away from home since joining the Big 12 in 2012-13.

Scouting Kansas State
Kansas State lost both of its games last week, falling at home to Oklahoma, 76-71, on Wednesday and at Baylor, 75-50, on Saturday. Six of the Wildcats' first eight Big 12 games have come against ranked teams.

Kayla Goth leads the Big 12 with 6.5 assists per game and also leads the Wildcats at 16.6 points per game. She led the way with 22 points at Baylor on Saturday. Peyton Williams is K-State's second leading scorer at 13.8 points and leads with 7.1 rebounds per game.

The Series
Kansas State leads the all-time series, 6-5, over TCU. The Wildcats have won three straight overall in the series, as well as three straight in Manhattan where TCU is 1-4. TCU's last win in the series came at home on Jan. 2, 2016. Its lone win in Manhattan came on Mar. 3, 2014.

The Frogs come home to host Oklahoma at Schollmaier Arena on Saturday at 2 p.m. TCU's three Big 12 losses have come to the Sooners, West Virginia and Kansas. The Frogs have already beaten the Mountaineers and the Jayhawks in the second meeting with each.
