FORT WORTH, Texas -- No. 24 TCU women's basketball looks to run its winning streak to six games on Saturday when Oklahoma visits Schollmaier Arena for a 2 p.m. contest.

TCU (14-5, 5-3) has won five consecutive games, most recently at Kansas State on Wednesday. Oklahoma (10-10, 5-4) is also coming off of a win on Wednesday after knocking off Kansas at home. The Frogs and Sooners have already met once this season with Oklahoma winning at home back on Jan. 4.

Special Events/Promotions
TCU will celebrate National Girls and Women in Sports Day with various activities. The Frogs are also offering TCU Tumblers to the first 600 fans and all concession stands will have $1 drinks and popcorn. It is also Letterman's Day and many TCU women's basketball alums will be in attendance.

Last Time Out
TCU had a huge third quarter, held on in the fourth, and grabbed its fifth straight win by beating Kansas State, 68-63, at Bramlage Coliseum on Wednesday night.

TCU, playing as a ranked team for the first time since 2010, got 22 points from Amy Okonkwo, including a career-high-tying three 3-poitners. Sydney Coleman added 10 points, including two big 3-pointers in the decisive third quarter. The Frogs played without Toree Thompson who had started every game this season but was out with an injury.

Kianna Ray made big plays down the stretch as Kansas State got a 13-point TCU lead down to as close as two points in the final minute of the game.

3-Pointers
1. TCU will play at home as a ranked team for the first time since Nov. 17, 2010, when the No. 23 Frogs beat SMU, 87-73, in double overtime. TCU is 28-5 at home all-time as a ranked team.

2. Before its current five-game winning streak, TCU opened Big 12 play with three losses to West Virginia, Kansas and Oklahoma. The Frogs have since beaten the Mountaineers and Jayhawks as part of their winning streak and could avenge the loss to the Sooners on Saturday.

3. TCU's last six-game winning streak came in 2010-11 when the Frogs won eight straight from Dec. 30 to Jan. 22. The last six of those wins were in Mountain West play, marking the last time the Frogs won six consecutive conference games.

Scouting Oklahoma
The Sooners won on Wednesday in a 97-64 rout of Kansas in Norman. That win kept the Sooners just a half game behind TCU in the Big 12 standings. OU lost last weekend at home to Oklahoma State.

The Sooners' starting five all average double-figure scoring, led by Vionise Pierre-Louis at 15.3 points per game. The senior also leads the Sooners at 8.4 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game. Four other Sooners average between 12.4 and 13.7 points per game.

Oklahoma has played the nation's third toughest schedule this season with seven of their 10 losses coming to ranked teams.

The Series
Oklahoma leads the all-time series, 22-4, including seven straight wins. The Frogs last win came on Mar. 1, 2014, in Fort Worth where TCU is 4-8 against OU. This will be the 27th meeting in the series, but just the second in which TCU is ranked. No. 23 TCU beat Oklahoma, 81-65, in Fort Worth on Dec. 9, 2004.

The Sooners won this season's first meeting, 84-71, in Norman. The Frogs led, 59-56, entering the fourth quarter, but Oklahoma opened the fourth with 12 straight points and never looked back.

Up Next
The Frogs will have a quick turnaround as they travel to Iowa State for a Tuesday night game. The Cyclones upset No. 19 Oklahoma State in Stillwater on Wednesday and will take on No. 6 Texas in Austin on Saturday.
