FORT WORTH, Texas - TCU women's basketball head coach Jeff Mittie announced the signing of Taylor Manning-Drake to a financial aid agreement on Wednesday.

Manning-Drake, a 6-foot-4 center from Montclair, N.J., becomes the third student-athlete to sign with the Horned Frogs for the 2014-15 season, joining Katie Powell (6-3, C, Duluth, Ga., Duluth HS) and Sydney Coleman (6-1, F, Cypress, Texas, Cypress Ranch HS). All three future Horned Frogs stand at 6-foot-1 or taller.

"Taylor is a big, physical, strong post," Mittie said. "We still feel like more depth on the front line is important in the Big 12 and Taylor gives us someone that we believe has potential to help us in that area."

Manning-Drake averaged 9.8 points, 7.6 rebounds and 1.2 blocks in 16 contests as a senior at Montclair High, and was selected to play in the New Jersey All-Star North-South Basketball Classic.

Manning-Drake also competed for the New Jersey Sparks Elite and Adidas National Travel teams.

The Horned Frogs are back in action at 7 p.m., Wednesday, when they play host to 11th-ranked Oklahoma State at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum.
