Last Time Out
TCU struggled offensively and fell to No. 22 Oklahoma State, 71-54, at Schollmaier Arena on Wednesday. TCU and Oklahoma State entered the game tied for third place in the Big 12 standings and they both shot 39 percent. The Cowgirls, however, outrebounded the Frogs, 51-32, to come out on top in the Frogs' first home game that featured two ranked teams since 2004.

Amber Ramirez led the Frogs with 17 points and four assists and made one of TCU's three 3-pointers. TCU was just 3-of-12 from deep and just 3-of-6 from the free throw line.

The Cowgirls closed the game on a 16-4 run after TCU had gotten as close as five points with over seven minutes to play.

1. TCU is playing its third straight game against a ranked team after facing No. 8 Texas and No. 22 Oklahoma State. The Frogs last played three straight ranked teams in the 2008-09 season when they played at No. 3 California, No. 24 Oklahoma State and No. 4 Texas A&M.

2. TCU won that game at No. 3 California on Dec. 7, 2008. That is the only time in program history that the Frogs have beaten a top-10 team on the road. The Frogs have won four road games against ranked team in their history, with one of those wins coming earlier this season at No. 15 West Virginia.

3. At 16-7, TCU has its best record through 23 games since being 18-5 in 2009-10, the last season the Frogs played in the NCAA Championships. TCU's 7-5 Big 12 record is also its best in six seasons in the league.

Scouting Baylor
Baylor is undefeated in Big 12 play and has won 19 straight since its lone loss of the season, at No. 8 UCLA on Nov. 18. The Lady Bears last played on Monday when they beat Oklahoma at home, 74-65, marking their closest margin of victory in Big 12 play.

Baylor ranks second in the NCAA in scoring offense (87.0 ppg) and 11th in scoring defense (55.0). The Lady Bears lead the nation with a +19.0 rebounding margin.

Kalani Brown (20.2 ppg, 9.7 rpg) and Lauren Cox (15.4, 9.6) form on of the nation's top frontcourt duos.

The Series
Baylor leads the all-time series, 32-5, including a 10-0 mark since TCU joined the Big 12 in 2012-13. Baylor has been ranked in the top seven nationally in each of those 10 meetings. Overall, Baylor has won 22 straight since TCU's last win in 1989-90.

The first 27 meetings in the series came when both teams were Southwest Conference members. The two teams never met in the16 seasons between TCU's SWC and Big 12 memberships.

TCU is 2-16 all-time in Waco with the wins coming in 1990 and 1987.

Up Next
The Frogs return home for two games next week, starting with Iowa State on Wednesday. It will be "We Love Our Fans" night at Schollmaier Arena and every fan will get to spin a prize wheel as they enter the arena.
