FORT WORTH, Texas - TCU has announced that men's basketball's Kyan Anderson and women's basketball's Zahna Medley are its Muscle Milk Athletes of the Week for their recent performances.

Anderson, a junior from North Crowley High School, became the 32nd TCU player all-time to score 1,000 career points despite a loss to Iowa State on Saturday. The guard led the team with 27 points and eight assists against the Cyclones. Anderson has totaled seven 20-point games this season and leads the team in field goal percentage (.462) and points per game (15.7).

The men's basketball team will return to action on Feb. 12 when it plays host to Baylor at 6 p.m., at the Daniel-Meyer Coliseum.

Medley, a sophomore guard, averaged 19.5 points last week as TCU defeated No. 23 Iowa State and Texas Tech. The Springfield, Ill., native posted 16 points in TCU's road win over the Cyclones and followed it up with a game-high 23 points against the Red Raiders.

The women's basketball team will look for its third straight win when it travels to Kansas for another battle on the hardwood on Feb. 12. The game is at 7:00 p.m. on ESPN 3.
