FORT WORTH, Texas -- TCU women's basketball looks for a third consecutive win as No. 3 Baylor visits Schollmaier Arena for a 5 p.m. contest on Saturday. It will be Senior Night as TCU will honor Toree Thompson and Sydney Coleman in a postgame ceremony.

TCU (18-9, 9-7) has won its last two games, including a 72-60 victory at Texas Tech on Wednesday. The Frogs sit in a tie for fourth place in the Big 12 standings and are just one game out of third place. Baylor (26-1, 16-0) clinched the Big 12 regular season title in its last game, a 93-87 win at Texas on Monday.

Last Time Out
TCU played excellent defense and grabbed its second straight win with a 72-60 win over Texas Tech at United Supermarkets Arena on Wednesday night.

TCU held Texas Tech to just 17 first-half points, including a scoreless stretch for the final 7:19 of the second quarter, building a 21-point halftime lead. The Frogs led by 26 points in the fourth quarter before the Lady Raiders closed the game on a run that made the final score closer.

Amy Okonkwo led TCU with 19 points, including 8-of-10 from the free throw line. No other Frogs scored in double figures, but five had seven or more points as the Frogs swept their season series against the Lady Raiders.

1. TCU's nine conference wins are tied for its most since joining the Big 12. The Frogs went 9-9 in 2014-15 when they finished in a four-way tie for third place in the league's final standings. TCU's 18 overall wins this season is its most in the regular season since joining the conference.

2. TCU is tied with Oklahoma State for fourth place in the Big 12 standings, just one game behind third-place Oklahoma and one game ahead of sixth-place West Virginia. The Frogs can finish anywhere from third to sixth ahead of next week's Big 12 Championships.

3. TCU has already won two games against ranked teams this season. The Frogs have won three against ranked teams just twice in program history, doing so in 2004-05 and 2005-06.

Scouting Baylor
Baylor is undefeated in Big 12 play and has won 23 straight since its lone loss of the season, at No. 8 UCLA on Nov. 18. The Lady Bears clinched their eighth consecutive Big 12 regular season title with a 93-87 win at Texas on Monday.

Baylor ranks second in the NCAA in scoring offense (87.1 ppg) and second in scoring margin (+31.1). The Lady Bears lead the nation with a +18.6 rebounding margin. Kalani Brown (20.2 ppg, 10.1 rpg) and Lauren Cox (14.8, 9.0) form on of the nation's top frontcourt duos.

The Series
Baylor leads the all-time series, 33-5, including an 11-0 mark since TCU joined the Big 12 in 2012-13. Baylor has been ranked in the top seven nationally in each of those 11 meetings. The Lady Bears have won 23 straight since TCU's last win in 1989-90.

The first 27 meetings in the series came when both teams were Southwest Conference members. The two teams never met in the 16 seasons between TCU's SWC and Big 12 memberships.

TCU closes its regular season with a critical game at Oklahoma State on Monday night. The Frogs will then turn their attention to the Big 12 Championships, which begin for TCU with the quarterfinals next Saturday at Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City.
