Complete All-Big 12 Selections

FORT WORTH, Texas -- Three TCU women's basketball student-athletes earned All-Big 12 honors, the league office announced on Wednesday, including Amy Okonkwo who earned TCU's second Big 12 individual award.

The junior earned the league's Sixth Man Award after averaging 15.4 points while coming off the bench in every game. She joins Chelsea Prince, the 2015 Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year, as the only Horned Frogs to win a Big 12 individual award.

Okonkwo was also named to the All-Big 12 Second Team, while Jordan Moore and Kianna Ray both earned All-Big 12 Honorable Mention recognition. This marks just the second time in its six seasons in the league that TCU has had three separate players earn All-Big 12 honors. Prince, Zahna Medley and Veja Hamilton earned Big 12 honors in 2015.

Okonkwo, a Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., native, is also now just the second Horned Frog to earn first- or second-team All-Big 12 honors, joining Medley who was a three-time All-Big 12 First Team selection. Okonkwo is the second Horned Frog to earn a sixth man award, joining Grace Gantt who was the Conference USA Sixth Player of the Year in 2002.

In addition to averaging 15.4 points, Okonkwo also averages 5.8 rebounds per game. She shoots a Big 12-best 90.2 percent from the free throw line and is the only autonomy conference player to shoot over 90 percent. Add to that number her 51.1 field goal percentage, and Okonkwo is on pace to be just the second player in Big 12 history to record a 50/90 season.

Moore, a junior from Round Rock, Texas, is TCU's second leading scorer at 12.8 points per game and the Frogs' leading rebounder at 6.8 boards per game. She ranks third in the Big 12 with 2.0 blocks per game and eighth with a 53.8 field goal percentage.

Ray, a sophomore from Austin, Texas, is TCU's leader in assists at 3.6 per game, ranking eighth in the Big 12. In conference play, she is one of just two players to rank in the Big 12 top 15 in assists, steals and blocks.

The Big 12 honors are the first of career for all three Frogs.

The Frogs return to the court on Saturday when they take on Oklahoma in the quarterfinals of the Phillips 66 Big 12 Championships at Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City. Tipoff is set for 11 a.m. on many FOX Sports regional networks.
