Former TCU women's basketball player Adrianne Ross rejoined the WNBA's San Antonio Silver Stars Wednesday after signing a 7-day contract with the club. The signing marks the former Lady Frog's second stint this season with the squad.

Ross signed a training camp contract with the Silver Stars following her graduation from TCU last spring. Although she did not make the regular season roster right out of camp, she did sign a 7-day deal for the first week of the season. She appeared in the season-opening loss to Sacramento and totaled four minutes. Ross was not initially resigned following the conclusion of her first contract.

The showing against the Monarchs marked Ross' only regular-season appearance thus far during her professional career. She played in both exhibition games for the Silver Stars and led the squad in scoring during the preseason. Ross joins former TCU teammate and current Lady Frog Director of Operations Sandora Irvin on the team's active roster. Irvin has seen action in 18 games this season.

San Antonio currently is tied for the lead in the Western Conference standings with Seattle with a record of 19-10. The mark also matches Connecticut for the top record among all WNBA teams. The squad will play three games during the next seven days against teams with a combined 53-34 record, including a Friday night road contest in Los Angeles, Calif., against the Sparks.
