TCU Basketball to appear live on CSTV at Mountain West Basketball Media Day

FT. WORTH, Texas - The 2005-06 season for the TCU men's and women's basketball teams will begin today when the Horned Frogs and Lady Frogs attend the annual Mountain West Conference Basketball Media Day as the newest member of the league. The event will be held at the University Park Marriott Hotel in Salt Lake City, Utah, and will continue tomorrow with live television and web site coverage taking place on both days.
TCU men's head coach Neil Dougherty and women's head coach Jeff Mittie will be among 18 head men's and women's basketball coaches from each of the nine MWC institutions to appear live on-air to preview the 2005-06 basketball season and answer questions submitted by fans online.
The MWC Basketball Media Day show will air live on CSTV: College Sports Television and online via the official Web sites of CSTV (www.cstv.com) and the Mountain West Conference (www.TheMWC.com). The men's basketball show will air from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Central time followed by the women's show from 8:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., also Central. Interviews with Dougherty and Mittie will take place tonight. Frog faithfuls can catch both TCU basketball coaches on Dish Network channel 152 or DirecTV 610. Check your local listings for times and availability.

The Mountain West Conference is the first of three Division I Conferences that CSTV will air live interviews with coaches and players from every men's and women's team. The others will be Conference USA and the Big East.
CSTV becomes the official television partner for the Mountain West Conference in 2006.
