3-Pointers
1. Thursday's game will be a special occasion for the Coleman family. TCU senior Sydney Coleman and Texas Wesleyan sophomore Taylor Coleman are sisters and will be playing against each other for the first and only time in their collegiate careers. Check back with GoFrogs.com on Friday for a featured look at the Coleman matchup.

2. TCU is playing Texas Wesleyan, also located in Fort Worth, in an exhibition game for the third time in Pebley's four seasons. The Frogs defeated the Lady Rams in 2014 by a final score of 86-40, and in 2015 by a score of 88-49. The Frogs played Texas A&M-Commerce in their exhibition game last season, winning 84-60, and moving to 3-0 in exhibitions under Pebley.

3. After having a very young team in 2016-17, TCU's 13-player roster now has seven sophomores. The Frogs return 10 letter winners from last season's team that posted a 12-18 overall record. TCU also returns mid-year transfer Jayde Woods and adds newcomers in freshman Lauren Heard and junior Dakota Vann.

Last Time Out
The Horned Frogs enter the 2017-18 season with some momentum after a foreign tour of Australia in early August. The Frogs posted a 4-0 record on the court, winning by an average of nearly 30 points per game.

Individually, Jordan Moore led the Frogs with 13.0 points and 9.0 rebounds per game while Amber Ramirez added 11.0 points and 4.5 assists per game.

Scouting Texas Wesleyan
Texas Wesleyan, an NAIA program, posted an 18-12 record last season, including a 10-8 mark and a third-place finish in the Sooner Athletics Conference. The Lady Rams leading scorer last season, Katelynn Threats (16.1 ppg, 10.1 rpg), was a First-Team All-SAC selection, but also a senior. They do return Bailey Broadnax (12.3 ppg) who was the team's second leading scorer.

The Lady Rams will be playing on back-to-back nights as they open their regular season on Wednesday night with a road contest at Wiley College in Marshall, Texas.

Up Next
The Horned Frogs open their regular season on Saturday, Nov. 11, when Oral Roberts comes to Schollmaier Arena for a 2 p.m. contest. The Golden Eagles won on the road at Oklahoma and Arkansas last season and return their top two scorers.
