TCU VERSUS THE BIG WEST CONFERENCE
The Lady Frogs are 1-4 all-time versus teams from the Big West Conference. TCU is 0-1 against Cal State Fullerton and UC Santa Barbara and 1-2 versus UC Irvine. The last time the Lady Frogs played a Big West team was Nov. 17, 1999, at UC Santa Barbara as part of the Preseason WNIT. UCSB won by an 86-61 count.

IMPRESSIVE EXHIBITION WIN
Winning exhibition games may not seem like a big deal, but consider the Lady Frogs' victory over Everyones Internet in their final tune-up for the regular season. TCU won by a 64-61 count against a squad that came in having knocked off the likes of Texas, Houston, Texas A&M and Texas Tech. EV1 capped off its tour with a 69-53 victory at South Carolina to put its final record at 8-4.

CAN THIS SCHEDULE GET ANY HARDER?
TCU has without question one of its most difficult non-conference schedules in school history this year. Ten of TCU's 27 games will be against teams that played in the 2005 NCAA Championship, with another seven coming versus 2005 WNIT squads. In total, 13 of the Lady Frogs' 19 opponents saw postseason action in 2004-05. Three teams -- Duke, Georiga and North Carolina -- were ranked in the preseason top 10 in both the coaches' and AP polls. Add to it Southern California, Oklahoma and Utah, and TCU plays six teams ranked among the top 25. Five of those teams are on the slate during the Lady Frogs' first seven games and four come consecutively.

TCU IN SEASON AND HOME OPENERS
TCU owns an all-time record of 15-13 in season openers and is 18-10 in home openers. Head coach Jeff Mittie is 9-4 and 12-1 in season and home openers for his career. Since becoming the Lady Frogs' head coach in August 1999, Mittie is 6-0 in both situations.
