TCU vs. New Mexico State

The following are photos of TCU vs. New Mexico State Sunday afternoon.

Rouse saw action in two meets in 2014-15, going 2-0 in Horsemanship with one MOP accolade ... Against Delaware State, the senior got the Frogs going in Horsemanship, dropping Lizzy Koons, 72-66 ... With the win, Rouse recorded her sixth MOP of her career ... Rouse also topped Ohio State's Elissa Benny, 69.5-68.5, in Horsemanship.

Rouse turned in a great junior campaign, scoring three MOP rides, while recording a 9-7 overall record in Horsemanship, including a 3-3 conference mark ... Opened the year, tallying an MOP ride against Kansas State with a 75.5-72 victory over Danielle Kemper ... Followed it up with another win over No. 9 Texas A&M before routing Georgia's Sara Parr, 70-63 ... Rouse got the Frogs going at the Fort Worth Stock Show Dual, recording a 75.5-73.5 victory over Brooke Moore to earn her second MOP of the year ... Posted her third MOP in Horsemanship against Oklahoma State ... Also tallied wins at SMU and at Kansas State to end the regular-season ... Probably the biggest highlight of Rouse's junior campaign came on the final day of competition at nationals ... Rouse continued her winning ways, dropping No. 1 South Carolina's Johnna Letchworth ... Rouse's 144.5-140 victory over Letchworth, who came into nationals as the two-time SEC Horsemanship Rider of the Year, is one for the record books ... Consider this, Letchworth, a multiple All-America honoree, entered nationals having won eight of her last nine Horsemanship rides and amassed 60 career wins ... Rouse toppled one of the most decorated student-athletes in NCEA history to close the year with nine wins.

Rouse had a great sophomore season for the Frogs ... She went 8-4-2 in Horsemanship during the course of the season, including 2-2-2 in Big 12 action ... Also claimed one MOP honor during the season ... In all, won 64 percent of her meets this year ... Scored a point for TCU at nationals, defeating South Carolina's Katie Kopf, 147-142.5 ... Also scored a Purple and White point for the Frogs in the final round of the Big 12 Championship, dropping Baylor's Rachel Nankervis, 142-137.

Rouse competed in the Western Horsemanship event this season ... Competed in five games and posted a 1-2-2 record in her freshman year ... Not only did her victory come against Oklahoma State, but she also earned an MVP award for that game by defeating Katy Krshka by a score of 74-70.
