Gillette closed out her final year in a Horned Frog uniform in style as she went 5-1 in postseason play to be named to the All-Championship team at nationals after going undefeated in Waco on the final day of competition … Throughout the year, Gillette picked up several accolades, including first-team Academic All-Big 12, first-team NCEA Academic All-American and being named to the La Hacienda Academic Honor Roll … The senior earned the Coaches Award after going 9-8-1 overall in competition with one MOP … She also garnered two Big 12 Conference victories … Gillette had several memorable moments during the 2015-16 campaign, but none bigger than scoring a school record 161 in Horsemanship versus Georgia to help TCU advance to the program’s first national championship round … Throughout the season, Gillette picked up victories in Horsemanship against SMU, Fresno State, Oklahoma State and K-State where she earned MOP honors after dropping Ashley Anderson, 75-72 … She opened postseason play, recording a 2-0 mark at the Big 12 Championship … At nationals, Gillette posted wins over New Mexico State, Georgia and Auburn.

Gillette, who was named to the prestigious Beval Saddlery Academic Team and earned Academic All-Big 12, saw action in 14 meets throughout the course of the season, claiming four victories and two MOP honors in Horsemanship ... She also garnered two ties in the discipline ... Gillette opened the year, scoring a win over Delaware State before earning MOP accolades and her third victory of the season versus No. 1 Baylor ... Against Fresno State, Gillette battled Taylor Dixon to a draw ... She closed out the 2014-15 campaign, scoring a 129.5- 123.5 victory over Oklahoma State's Paris Nottingham to help TCU earn third-place at the 2015 Big 12 Championship.

Gillette competed and advanced to the second round at the prestigious AQHA Horsemanship Challenge during the month of November ... By being selected for the event, Gillette was considered one of the top-eight Horsemanship riders in the NCEA in 2013-14 ... She competed in 16 meets during the season in Horsemanship, going 7-9-0 overall with one MOP ... She also went 3-3 overall during league play ... Opened the season, defeating Baylor's Jessica Leach, 68.5-66 ... Garnered her first MOP honor of the season in Horsemanship against Texas A&M, ousting Molli Jacobs, 75-73.5 ... Also posted a victory over Georgia, Baylor and Oklahoma State ... Came back during the opening round of the Big 12 Championship to drop Mary Brown (Baylor), 143-141 ... Scored a 147.5-145 victory over No. 1 South Carolina's Alison Ceresani at nationals.

Gillette had one of the most successful freshman campaigns in school history, garnering a 10-5 overall mark in Horsemanship with two MOP awards ... She went 4-2 during league play this season as well ... Claimed Rookie of the Year honors on the Western side at the end of the year banquet ... Scored a point for TCU at nationals, defeating South Carolina's Sam Chiodo in Horsemanship, 143.5-136.5 ... The win for the freshman was impressive in the fact that coming into nationals Chiodo was tabbed an NCEA All-American after going 7-1 during the regular-season ... Garnered a victory for the Frogs in the final round of the Big 12 Championship, defeating Baylor's Parris Rice, 137.5-107.

Gillette, a four-time Congress Champion and two-time Reserve Congress Champion, hails from Palos Verdes, Calif ... She earned the 2011 Congress Championship in Horsemanship, as well as placed seventh overall in Western riding at the Youth World Show ... Gillette also finished eighth overall in Horsemanship, to go along with her 10th-place showing in Trail at the World Show ... She has also excelled on the soccer pitch in California, playing club soccer for over 13 years.
