Gray closed out her career in style, earning NCEA All-America honors in Reining to go along with all-conference and academic all-conference accolades ... Gray begun the year, going 2-0 in Reining against both Delaware State and Ohio State, respectively ... She came back to oust Parris Rice, 73.5-73, en route to MOP honors versus Baylor in Reining ... Gray recorded her second-straight MOP in the discipline, upending K-State's Kara Guy, 69.5-67, while also riding Jake to a 71-66 victory over the Wildcats' Alyssa Lombardi in Horsemanship ... She continued her winning ways, dropping SMU in Horsemanship at the Fort Worth Stock Show Dual before defeating No. 1 Baylor's Ginger Chant ... Improved to 7-2 on the year in Horsemanship by knocking off K-State's Paige Kemper, 75-73.5 ... Came back to defeat Oklahoma State's Justine Peters, 66-65, in Reining ... Finally, Gray closed the regular-season, going 2-0 in Reining against Fresno State and Georgia ... Throughout the season, Gray earned several honors, including earning Big 12 Rider of the Month honors in Reining after compiling a 3-0 record during the month of October, with all three victories coming away from home.
Gray claimed four victories in Reining during the course of the 2013-14 season, while competing in 14 overall ... Opened the year downing Baylor's Elizabeth Shank to secure the Frogs sweep in Reining ... She also upended Hannah Jechow of Texas A&M a few weeks later and then followed it up with a dominating 70-66.5 victory of Georgia's Lindsey Cheek ... She also excelled in the classroom during the 2013-14 campaign, picking up first team NCEA All-America honors and All-Big 12 accolades.
Gray was the third Frog in program history to earn All-America recognition in Reining after going 8-7-0 overall, including 3-3 in league play during the course of the season ... Gray will compete for the Horned Frogs after earning multiple APHA World and Congress Championships ... She has also posted several High Point titles ... She was a three-time APHA World Champion as well as a three-time Reserve World Champion rider ... Gray, a five-time Congress Champion, has been ranked as high as No. 2 in the nation for two-straight years ... Also earned letters in basketball, volleyball and track and field.
