The TCU women's equestrian team faced the women of Baylor equestrian in both Springtown and Fort Worth on Thursday.

Morgan competed in 17 meets in Horsemanship and 14 meets in Reining during her senior season ... Her senior year was her first year competing in the Reining discipline ... Had an overall record of 8-7-2 in Horsemanship and 4-9-1 in Reining ... Garnered three MOP accolades in Horsemanship for her rides against SMU, Baylor and New Mexico State, respectively ... Recorded a season-high score of 77 in Horsemanship against South Carolina and a season high of 71.5 in a draw against South Dakota State in Reining ... Had a season average of 66.3 points in Horsemanship, 61.8 in Reining ... Won her points in both postseason matchups with Baylor in Horsemanship ... Defeated Baylor, OSU and SMU in the postseason in Reining.

2016 NCEA All-Championship Team -- Horsemanship
Morgan had a stellar junior season as she competed in all 18 meets for TCU in Horsemanship ... She compiled a 9-9 overall record with one MOP, including a 4-2 mark in postseason action ... Morgan also went 3-3 overall in league play in Horsemanship, while collecting Honorable Mention Academic All-Conference accolades ... Even more impressive though is that Morgan was named to the All-Championship team at nationals after going undefeated on the final day of competition ... Throughout the season, Morgan defeated riders from New Mexico State, Baylor, South Dakota State (MOP), Oklahoma State and K-State ... Morgan opened the 2016 Big 12 Championship by defeating OSU's Miranda Reed, 146.5-143.5 ... At nationals, TCU needed one win to tie the meet at 8-8 and Morgan delivered in Horsemanship, riding Sonny to a 150.5-149 victory over Bray Bergstrom, which helped the Frogs advance to the semifinals ... She would close the NCEA National Championships, defeating Auburn's Griffin Knight and Georgia's Rachel Kolb to close play with a three-meet winning streak.

Morgan saw action in 10 meets during her sophomore season in Horsemanship, including six conference meets ... She scored her lone victory of the year in the discipline against SMU at the Fort Worth Stock Show Dual, dropping Kristen Schramm.

Big 12 Horsemanship Rider of the Month -- February
Morgan was honored as the Big 12 Horsemanship Rider of the Month after going undefeated in conference competition during the month of February, defeating Mary Brown of Baylor and Lindsey McMullen of Oklahoma State ... She opened the month going 3-0 ... Morgan was also named the Big 12 Championship Most Outstanding Performer in Horsemanship at the Big 12 Championship ... The Utah native went 2-0 in Waco in the discipline ... In all, she went 8-3-0 during the course of the season in Horsemanship, including an impressive 4-0 in post-season action ... Opened the year going 1-0 against Baylor's Parris Rice, 70.5-66.5 ... Also scored a victory at the Fort Worth Stock Show Dual, scoring a 72-71.5 decision over DSU's Abigail Buckwalter ... Closed the year winning seven out of her last nine, including a 149.5-147.5 decision over South Carolina's Katie Kopf at nationals.

Prep Career
Morgan came to TCU from Provo, Utah and has captured an astonishing 14 APHA World Championships, including most recently the 2012 English Equitation title ... In 2008, she was named the No. 1 Youth in the nation and has earned multiple honor roll championships.
