Final Results

DOVER, Del. - No. 7 TCU simply crushed Delaware State Saturday afternoon at the Gambler's Choice Equestrian Center, winning easily, 17-2.

"Today was a great day. Both squads rode really well and it was a solid victory," said Hunt Seat head coach Logan Fiorentino. "There were some outstanding rides from Alexi Child, Chantz Stewart, Calli Rouse, Caitlin Ader and Kaitlin Perry. I look forward to competing against Sacred Heart tomorrow."

On a dominating day, the Horned Frogs, who improved to 7-5 overall as a team with the win, swept the Hornets in Western, 10-0, which marks the first time all season the Frogs have had a clean sweep of an opponent in the discipline. The Purple and White also laid claim to four MOP accolades Saturday as Calli Rouse, Alexi Child and Kaitlin Perry all earned honors.

TCU, who moved to 9 -2 in Western on the season, was led on the day by Rouse in Horsemanship. The sophomore scored a 77.5 to defeat Brooke Moore. With the win, Rouse is now 6-3-2 on the year and captured her first MOP honor of the season. Katelyn Gray and Alexie Estrada were also victorious in the event, defeating Taylor Scuse and Breann Huyett, respectively. After Samantha Bayer dropped Cailynn Fedorkowicz, freshman Erin Gillette rounded out the Frog points, scoring 68.5 points to upend Alexis Gratkowski

In Reining, Child improved to 8-3 overall with a 69-point ride on Goldfish, while Kolby Simonson and Samantha Bayer downed Shelby Bonneville and Krystal St. James, respectively. Gray, who went 2-0 on the day, garnered another victory Saturday, defeating Lindsay Blum, 66.5-65. Finally, Chantz Stewart closed the scoring in Reining, defeating Breann Huyett, 70-69.

On the Hunt Seat side, the Frogs made quick work of Delaware State, winning 7-2. In the discipline, the Frogs posted a 4-0 victory in Equitation on the Flat, while also claiming a 3-2 decision in Equitation over Fences. With the win, TCU improved to 7-4 overall on the season.

Perry had a banner day for the Frogs as she was honored with both MOP accolades. The California native now has three MOP rides on the season between the two events and has recorded 14 wins overall on the season.

In Equitation on the Flat, Perry rode Dakota to a victory over Heather Hotz. She also downed Hotz in Equitation over Fences, 79-68. Also claiming a win on the Flat was senior Haley Jacobi, who dropped Alyssa Berfield, 69-66. Demi Stiegler and Caitlin Ader rounded out the Frog scoring, upending Tiffany Lee and Jordan Odle, respectively.

Jacobi posted her second win of the day on MG in Equitation over Fences, defeating Berfield, 72-64. Nikki Diamantis laid claim to the final point for TCU in the event, dropping Lee.

The Horned Frogs will close their regular-season tomorrow against Sacred Heart in Delaware.
