DOVER, Del. - No. 7 TCU closed its regular-season Sunday afternoon with a 13-2 dismantling of Sacred Heart at the Gambler's Choice Equestrian Center.

With the win, the Horned Frogs, who won their second-straight meet over the weekend after defeating Delaware State Saturday, closed the regular-season with an 8-5 overall record, which included a 3-3 mark in conference play. The Frogs are currently tied with Baylor for second-place overall in the most recent Big 12 standings and will compete at the Big 12 Championships in Stillwater, Okla., beginning on March 29.

On Sunday, TCU claimed three MOP accolades as Kaitlin Perry, Kolby Simonson and Erin Gillette were all honored.

The Hunt Seat squad dominated the Pioneers Sunday, posting a 6-1 decision to move to 8-4 on the year. The Frogs made quick work of Sacred Heart in Equitation on the Flat Sunday, sweeping the Pioneers, 4-0.

Perry picked up her third MOP honor over the weekend, scoring an 84-71 victory to upend Devan Beaulieu on the Flat. Also victorious were Caitin Ader and Demi Stiegler, respectively, while senior Haley Jacobi defeated Taylor DiBella, 79-76.

In Equitation over Fences, Perry continued her winning ways, defeating Meagan Korolyshun, 70-64. With the win, the California native now has four MOP rides on the season between the two events and has recorded 16 wins overall on the season. Also claiming a victory was Taylor Alexander, while Alicia Turner battled Allison Brosky to a 76-76 draw.

On the Western side, the Horsemanship squad made quick work of the Pioneers, sweeping them, 4-0. Gillette, who went 2-0 on the weekend, got the Frogs rolling as she defeated Margaret Vogel, 75.5-70. Senior Alexie Estrada and Samantha Bayer also tallied points for TCU in the event, defeating Allison Buccos and Molly-Kate Carven, respectively. Finally, Taylor Gillette followed in her younger sisters footsteps in Horsemanship, downing Arielle Pagano, 74-65.

In Reining, Simonson posted her second MOP ride of the season Sunday, while improving her season record to 8-3-1 with a victory over Danielle Belson. Alexi Child was also victorious, scoring 69 points to upend Vogel. Rounding out the Frogs' scoring in the event was freshman Chantz Stewart who defeated Buccos, 70-61.5.

With the win, the Western team moved to 10-2 on the season, which includes a 5-1 mark in conference play. The 2013 Western squad trails only the 2008 and 2009 squads for most victories in a single-season. In 2008, TCU capped a 15-0 season with the Western National Championship, while the 2009 edition ended the year with a 13-4 overall record.

The Horned Frogs open postseason play at the Big 12 Championships on the campus of Oklahoma State on March 29.
