No. 7 Frogs Fall to No. 2 Aggies

COLLEGE STATION, Texas - No.7 TCU equestrian fell to No. 2 Texas A&M on Thursday afternoon at Hildebrand Equine Complex in College Station, Texas. The Frogs, now with a 2-3 record, were topped 16-3 by the Aggies, who improve to 5-1 on the season.

The Rundown
On the Hunt Seat side, the Frogs fell 8-2, with the Aggies taking each event with a score of 4-1. In Fences, freshman Raegan Rast made her mark, posting an 84 on Matrix, but the Aggies' Rachael Hake won the point with an 88. Patty Gill earned the lone point with a 73-point ride against Rhian Murphy. In Flat, seniors Carley Barnett, Jayme Omand and Emelie Burgess stood out with scores of 89, 90 and 85, respectively. Jayme Omand earned the lone point against Texas A&M's Maddie Swem.

On the Western front, TCU fell 8-1. Jamie Cook earned her point against Sarah Orsak in Horsemanship, and in Reining it seemed Carly Lombard had won her point, but it came down to a draw against Texas A&M's Darby Gardner.

The Frogs take the saddle again at home on Friday, Nov. 3 against conference rival Baylor. The meet at Turning Point Ranch will begin at 10 a.m.
