Frogs Fall to No. 6 OSU

STILLWATER, Oklahoma -- The No. 8 TCU  equestrian team fell to the No. 6 Oklahoma State on Friday in Stillwater, Okla., 13-6.

The Rundown In Fences, senior Jayme Omand won the lone point for TCU (2-5, 0-2). She rode horse Ginger against OSU's Katie Jones, topping Jones 77-74.

In Flat, the Frogs won two points, with seniors Carley Barnett and Mady Fithian winning their points for TCU. Barnett earned a score of 85 for her ride on Fritz against OSU's Hannah Janson, while Mady Fithian won 87-86 against Carly Barrick on Milton. Fithian's ride led to her second MOP accolade of her career.

In Horsemanship, sophomore Laska Anderson won the lone point for the Frogs, earning a score of 76 against Sarah Miller of OSU's 74.5 on Chili. It seemed Cydney Benes won her point, but the matchup ended in a tie at 74 against Kristen Chamberland on Hogan. TCU's Elizabeth Bohn and OSU's Paige Kemper had a close ride on Isaac, but the decision fell in OSU's favor, 72-70.5.

In Reining, Carly Lombard started TCU off on the right hoof with a score of 73 and ended up earning her point for the Frogs. Adrianna Adams also won her point for the Frogs, topping OSU's Julia Purus 67.5-67.

Up Next The Frogs are finished for the fall semester and will ride again against Texas A&M in the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo on Jan. 25 in 2018.
