Ader Set For Collegiate Equitation Challenge

FORT WORTH, Texas - Senior Caitlin Ader was recently selected to participate at the Fifth Annual Collegiate Equitation Challenge in Wellington, Fla.

Ader, a returning NCEA All-America honoree and academic all-conference selection, has gone 3-0 this season in Equitation over Fences, while also garnering four victories on the Flat. She is one of four conference riders, joining the likes of Samantha Schaefer (Baylor), Samantha Elser (Oklahoma State) and Rachel Webster (K-State), set to compete next Friday. 

The meet, which is held at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center and will begin on Friday, Feb. 7, will be conducted utilizing the NCEA head-to-head bracketed format with the 16 top collegiate riders from across the country. Participating riders will compete over an equitation course that features heights up to three feet, six inches.

The TCU Western program will next be in action against Delaware State at the Fort Worth Stock Show on Friday, Feb. 7. Competition is slated to begin at 5:00 p.m. CT from John Justin Arena.
