No. 6 TCU To Battle No. 5 Oklahoma State

FORT WORTH, Texas -- No. 6 TCU returns to Turning Point Ranch Friday morning to take on No. 5 Oklahoma State. Start time set for 10:00 a.m. CT.

The All-Time Series
The Purple and White and Cowgirls will compete for the 19th time in program history Thursday. Oklahoma State leads the series at 10-8 after defeating TCU in November. In all, the Frogs have won six out of the last 10 meetings.

Home Sweet Home
The Frogs are 15-5 overall during the regular-season in Springtown since 2012-13. The Purple and White are also 5-2 in regular-season outings against league foes since 2013-14.

Peddicord Stays Undefeated
Molly Peddicord continued her winning ways against Baylor, claiming another point for the Purple and White in Equitation over Fences. The junior has now gone 16-2 between Equitation on the Flat and Equitation over Fences heading into Friday. She has now also garnered six MOP rides between the two disciplines.

Stewart Pushing For All-America Honors
Returning All-American Chantz Stewart shined during the fall campaign, going a perfect 7-0 in Reining. She opened the spring season, defeating Fresno State's Aly Frias and Baylor's Maddison Smith to move to 9-0 on the season. The 2015 Big 12 Reining Rider of the Year honoree went 6-0 last year against conference foes during the regular-season. She has now gone an impressive 17-1-1 in her last 19 regular-season outings in Reining.

Scouting TCU
No. 6 TCU comes into Friday with a 4-5 overall record after being upended by No. 4 Baylor last Saturday in Waco.

In Equitation over Fences, TCU claimed a 3-2 decision in the discipline. Carley Barnett dropped Alicia Gasser, 80-40, while Nicole Diamantis defeated Gabby Conte, 76-69. Molly Peddicord improved to 9-0 in Fences by upending Brittney Mirkov, 81-77. Emelie Burgess won the lone point for the Purple and While in Equitation on the Flat, dropping Paige Parker, 76-72.

On the Western side, the Horned Frogs tied the Bears 2-2 in Reining. Meloney Morris and Chantz Stewart won the two points for the Purple and White by defeating Mary Brown and Maddison Smith, respectively. With the win, Stewart is now 9-0 on the season.

Scouting Oklahoma State
No. 5 Oklahoma State comes into Friday following a 11-6 win over now No. 10 Kansas State. With the win, the Cowgirls improved to 4-0 in conference play. Oklahoma State claimed three MOP accolades against the Wildcats

On the season, senior Erin Willoughby has rode to a perfect 7-0 record in Reining. As a team, the Cowgirls remained unbeaten in Reining at 6-0-1 overall. In Horsemanship, Paris Nottingham has also shined as of late as she recently picked up MOP accolades against K-State.

On the Hunt Seat side, returning All-America honoree Jorden Davis was victorious against the Wildcats, while Carly Barrick went 2-0 over the weekend with wins in both Equitation on the Flat and Equitation over Fences. Barrick posted a personal-best score of 88 in Equitation over Fences.
