Three Frogs Earn All-Big 12 Honors

FORT WORTH, Texas – Three members of the TCU equestrian team earned themselves All-Big 12 accolades, with two of them earning Rider of the Year at the close of the Big 12 Championship on Saturday in Waco, Texas.

Senior Megan McMullen was named Horsemanship Rider of the Year as well as being named to the All-Big 12 Horsemanship Team. This is McMullen’s first Rider of the Year honor; her third time being named to the Horsemanship All-Big 12 Team.

Junior Jayme Omand was named the Equitation over Fences Rider of the Year as well as being named to the All-Big 12 Fences Team. This is her first time earning All-Big 12 honors.

Senior Kari Hancock was named to the All-Big 12 Equitation on the Flat Team, the second time she has been a member of the team.

Hancock and junior Carley Barnett were named MOPs of the Big 12 Championship, Hancock for Equitation on the Flat and Barnett for Equitation over Fences.
