Horned Frogs Volunteer Through Special Olympics Sunday

FORT WORTH, Texas – Members of the TCU equestrian program will volunteer at the Special Olympics Area 11 Equestrian competition this Sunday.

Spearheaded by senior Victoria Lee, student-athletes from both the Western and Hunt Seat squads will volunteer their time at Riding Unlimited in Ponder, Texas. Opening Ceremonies are slated to begin at 8:45 a.m., while competition will begin at approximately 9:00 a.m. and conclude by 5:00 p.m.

Special Olympics Texas (SOTX) is a privately funded non-profit organization that changes lives through the power of sport by encouraging and empowering people with intellectual disabilities, promoting acceptance for all, and fostering communities of understanding and respect.  SOTX provides continuing opportunities for more than 44,000 children and adults with intellectual disabilities throughout the Lone Star State to realize their potential, develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage and experience joy and friendship.
