FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU equestrian program announced the addition of Julia Finn Friday morning.

"We are excited to welcome Julia to the TCU equestrian program," said Hunt Seat head coach Logan Fiorentino. "She is a well-rounded young lady with tremendous drive and dedication.  She had a lot of success this past winter competing at HITS Thermal and we are ready to see what she can do when she arrives in Fort Worth."

Finn, who hails from Scottsdale, Ariz., will don the Purple and White next fall after claiming the 2014 HITS Thermal Circuit Championship for High Children's Jumpers. The two-time Zone 8 Small Junior Hunter Champion has posted multiple top-finishes in the USEF Medal classes throughout the west coast and southwest show circuits.

Finn will graduate from Chaparral High School after being a member of the National Honors Society. The four-year honors student has also done extensive volunteer work as she currently volunteers with the Hunkapi Therapeutic Riding Center and is the president of the Purple Society, which helps families fight childhood cancer.
