Finding Out More About Boyle
July 24, 2014
FORT WORTH, Texas - Gofrogs.com recently sat down with sophomore Western rider Brooke Boyle to find out more about her life as a TCU student-athlete.
Boyle saw action in 15 meets during her first year on campus, posting a 7-6-2 record in Reining, while garnering two conference victories. She came on late in the year to record a 2-1-1 post-season record.
The California native was named Big 12 Reining Rider of the Month, going undefeated during the month of March, while also gathering one MOP. Overall, she went 3-0-1 during the month, including 2-0-1 against conference foes.
Have you done any equestrian shows this summer? If so, talk a little bit about them.
"Right now, I am preparing to show in Futurities, which helps my horse prepare for Reining by the Bay in a few weeks. It will be the debut of my three-year-old mare! I am very excited to show her for the first time and have a successful run!"
