WACO, Texas-The TCU Equestrian team finished the Baylor Fall Tournament Saturday at the the Willis Family Equestrian Center. The Frogs went 1-1 on the final day, as they defeated Deleware State 8-4 followed by dropping a tie-breaker to Stephen F. Austin 717.5-608 after tying in total points 6-6.

The Western team continued its success as they improved their season record to 7-0. Overall on the weekend the Western Frogs collected five of the six possible MVPs, including one by freshman Jennifer Neel, who picked up her first of the season with a 68.5 in the Reining event against Delaware State

"We had a lot of improvement," junior Carrie von Uhlit said. "We had a lot of girls who hadn't shown much, and they did a great job."

Individually von Uhlit went undefeated as she went 3-0 Saturday to finish with a mark of 5-0 over the two-day event. Von Uhlit collected her fourth MVP of the season in the Horsemanship event against Stephen F. Austin.

When asked about the source of her dominance this weekend, von Uhlit contributed the performance to "I practiced a lot, and Coach [Reynolds] helped get me back on track.

On the English side, Tassie Munroe had a successful game against Delaware State. Munroe, who is from the Waco area, collected her first MVP of the season as she scored a 79 in Equitation over Fences. The Frogs took the event 2-1.

TCU will take a two-week break before returning to action November 10 against SMU. The game against SMU, which will feature only English events, will wrap up the Frogs' fall portion of the schedule.
