TCU Concludes Play in Puerto Rico

RIO GRANDE, Puerto Rico -- The TCU women's golf program concluded play Tuesday with a 15th-place finish at the Lady Puerto Rico Classic.
The 43rd-ranked Horned Frogs improved their score in each round, shooting a 306 on Tuesday. No. 8 Arkansas captured the team title with a 3-over-par 867. Nine teams in this year's Lady Puerto Rico Classic are ranked in the top 50, including six in the top 25.
Sanna Nuutinen, who finished 16th individually, birdied two of her final four holes en route to a final-round 75 and a 4-over 220 for the tournament. The senior from Helsinki, Finland, had TCU's low score for the third consecutive day.
Maymon shot par on 14 holes. Bonetti and Uhles both had one birdie.
Purdue's Aurora Kan and Alabama's Stephanie Meadow shared medalist honors with a 5-under 211.
TCU will return to action March 11 at the Aloha Wahine Invitational in Oahu, Hawaii.
