Horned Frogs Battle Up Seven Spots to Third Place at the Texas A&M "Mo"Morial Invitational

Cypress, Texas - Following a rough first start, senior Horned Frog Brooke Tull scrambled back into the top-10 in the second and final day of the Texas A&M "Mo"Morial Invitational. She tied for sixth after starting the day tied at 25th, while the No. 35 TCU women's golf team climbed the ladder from 10th to third.
As a team, the Horned Frogs fared seven strokes better than any other squad today, including the two first-place teams, Kansas State and Missouri. TCU shot a 297 combined compared to K State's 304 and Missouri's 307.
Tull shot a 70 (-2) today at Blackhorse Golf Club, while freshman teammate Camille Blackerby finished one-over par (73) tied at 10th. Freshmen Catherine Matranga and Elin Emanuelsson both shot +5 today to put them tied for 44th and tied for 61st following yesterday's performances. Freshman Stacey Bieber had the toughest time today after having led the Frogs yesterday tied at 13th. She finished today's 18-hole round at 12-over par.
