Tull Leads the Field After Day One of Donnis Invitational

Kaneohe, Hawai'i - After the first of two days on the Kaneohe Clipper Golf Course in Kaneohe, Hawai'i, the TCU women's golf team cashed out at fourth with senior all-American Brooke Tull heading the pack shooting for par.
Tull shot a consistent 72-72 on the par-72, 5,829 yardage course. Hot on her trail is New Mexico's Christine Fernandez, who, following a 77 first-round performance, shot two-under par on the second round to bring her within one of Tull. The next closest Frog, freshman Camille Blackerby, recovered after a tough first round (81) to shoot a 72 in the closing round of the day. She sits tied at 18th at the close of the day.
Sophomore Traci Robison and freshman Catherine Matranga both tied for 30th at the end of the day with scores of 79-80 and 77-82, respectively. Freshman Elin Emanuelsson rounded out the Frogs tied for 35th with a score of 83-77.
As a team, the Frogs finished the day at fourth (309-301=610). Meanwhile, No. 3 New Mexico leads with a combined score of 304-290=594.
