Frogs Tie for Sixth at Big 12 Championship

RHODES, Iowa -- The TCU women's golf team finished in a tie for sixth place as play concluded Sunday at the Big 12 Championship.
The Horned Frogs, who have reached the NCAA postseason the last 17 years, will now await word to see if they are selected for an at-large bid to next month's NCAA Regionals.
Bonetti was TCU's top finisher, tying for 10th individually. It earned the sophomore from Paris, France, inclusion on the Big 12's All-Tournament team.
Bonetti had a pair of birdies on the back nine in recording her third top-10 result in the last five tournaments.
Nuutinen totaled a team-best four birdies, including three on the back nine, in tying for 13th. A junior from Helsinki, Finland, Nuutinen had her fifth top-20 finish of the season, tying Bonetti for most on TCU.
No. 17 Oklahoma State captured the team title with a 905. No. 23 Baylor was two strokes back with a 907.
With a 936, No. 48 TCU tied No. 19 Texas for sixth.
The Bears' Lauren Taylor took medalist honors with a 3-under 213, eight shots ahead of Iowa State's Punpaka Phuntumabamrung.
