TCU's Season Concludes At NCAA West Regional

ERIE, Colo. -- TCU's 6-over-par 294 Saturday represented its best round at the NCAA West Regional, but the Horned Frogs tied for 14th and saw their season come to a close.
By not finishing in the top eight, TCU, the Mountain West champion the last two seasons, fell short of its fifth NCAA Championship appearance in the last six seasons.
Beeler was TCU's top finisher, tying for 16th with a 4-over-par 220. She had two birdies in the opening eight holes en route to a final-round 74.
Raastad, who tied for 35th with a 223, carded an even-par 72 for her best round at the NCAA West Regional. Raastad had a pair of birdies on the front nine and shot par on each hole of the back nine.
TCU freshman April McCoy had a pair of birdies in also recording her best round of the weekend with a 1-over 73.
Fellow freshman Alexandra Bonetti added a 75, while MW individual champion Sanna Nuutinen shot a 76 for the Horned Frogs. Bonetti had back-to-back birdies on the sixth and seventh holes in totaling three birdies on the day.
North Carolina's Catherine O'Donnell carded a 7-under 209 to take medalist honors by one stroke over LSU's Austin Ernst.
Top-ranked and defending national champion UCLA and No. 7 LSU tied for the team lead with a 9-over 873. The 36th-ranked Horned Frogs were at 900, missing the top eight by 10 strokes.
