Nuutinen Cards School Record 64
Oct. 28, 2013
SAN ANTONIO -- TCU senior Sanna Nuutinen shot a school-record 64 to highlight Monday's second round for the Horned Frogs at the Alamo Invitational.
With her 8-under-par round, Nuutinen broke TCU's previous mark of 65 set by Brooke Beeler at the 2011 Central District Invitational in Parrish, Fla.
A native of Helsinki, Finland, Nuutinen recorded eight birdies while shooting par on the other 10 holes. She had three consecutive birdies on the back nine and four in her final seven holes.
Nuutinen has a 6-under 138 through 36 holes, tied for second individually and just two strokes off the lead held by LSU's Lindsay Gahm.
The Horned Frogs' 285 tied for the fifth-best round in school history. No. 47 TCU is in seventh place with a 574, 12 strokes behind seventh ranked and leader Arkansas.
A freshman from Fort Worth, White recorded all three of her birdies on the back nine. Bonetti's two birdies also came over the final nine holes.
Live scoring of Tuesday's final round is available at www.Golfstat.com. There will be an 8:45 a.m. shotgun start.
