The TCU Women's Golf Team fired a second round 316 to end the day in 12th place at the 2002 Auburn Tiger Derby Invitational. The Tennessee women are in first place after shooting a 297, giving them a three shot lead over Texas. The TCU women have 36 hole score of 626.

On day two the Frogs were led by senior Shannon Barr who posted a five-over par score of 77 placing her in a tie for 59th. Freshman Stephanie Godare shot a 79 for a 46th place finish, while 31st place Brooke Tull and 66th place Traci Robison each fired a round of 80. Sophomore D'Rae Ward recorded a 71st place finish shooting a second round 83.

The tournament field includes each of the nation's top five women's collegiate golf teams, and seven of the country's top 10. The tournament will conclude with the final 18 holes on Sunday.
