The TCU Women's golf team shot a final round score of 296 Sunday at the 2002 Auburn Tiger Derby Invitational to finish out the weekend with a 12th place finish. The Frogs had a three-day total of 922. The Tennessee women took top honors firing atotal of 871 (289-297-285), placing them seven strokes ahead of second place Texas.

The TCU Women were led by Brooke Tull who recorded a 15th place tie with a three round 223 (72-80-71). Freshman Stephanie Godare shot a 227 (76-79-72) for a 29th place finish, while Shannon Barr turned in a 234 (81-77-76) for a tie for the 55th slot. 66th place Traci Robison fired a final round of and 78 for a three day total of 239, and Sophomore D'Rae Ward posted a 71st place finish shooting a final score of 244 (84-83-77). The tournament field included each of the nation's top five women's collegiate golf teams, and seven of the country's top 10. The TCU Women are next in action in the spring of 2003. The Frogs begin their spring campaign on February 10, 2003 at the Tulane Invitational in New Orleans.
