FORT WORTH, Texas -- Included below is the latest installment of "The Gallery Wants to Know ..." by TCU women's golf team member Elisa Gomez.

Howdy Horned Frog fans and welcome to another edition of "The Gallery Wants to Know..." Before I begin, I just want to say I appreciate you taking the time to read and support the TCU women's golf team... And here we go...

Things have been going well. We're already starting our fourth week of school (crazy, I know). Classes are really a lot of fun. I'm in this one dance class that focuses on the dance style of Hip-Hop (oh the privileges of being a senior and getting to take electives). It is one of my favorite classes taken at TCU. We have an awesome teacher who puts all of my dance moves to shame (and if you ask around I do have some mean moves). But it's also a great class because it's such a workout!

This week the Bookstore had some activities celebrating its opening and the Steel Drum Band, a part of the TCU Marching Band, provided some sweet entertainment. They were really awesome and quite professional, so kudos to them! If you ever get a chance to check out these musicians do it because it will be worth it.

Sunday, I went over to one of my friend's houses to watch the big Super Bowl XLII. We had such a good time and the game was so great... Rock on Giants.

As far as golf goes, we're heading to the Regional Challenge in Palos Verdes, Cali-forn-i-a. Ah, beautiful California. That will be rad, for sure. They do have some great courses over there. Right after that is Puerto Rico... For sure one of my favorite tournaments. The golf, the beach, the sun... Just the right combination for excellence.

Before we part I'd like to give you some little nuggets of knowledge better known as Popcorn's Kernels on golf, TCU and life:

Golf: If you want to become better putting under pressure, the 3,6,9 drill is great. Get 3 tees and 3 balls. Place one tee at 3 feet, one at 6 feet and one at 9 feet. Begin at the 3 foot tee and make three putts in a row GOING THROUGH YOUR ROUTINE. After accomplishing this, you may proceed to the 6 foot tee and make 3 in a row. Then move back to the 9 foot tee. The trick is if you miss any putt you must go back to the 3 foot tee, do not pass go, do not collect $200 and start again.

TCU: Kudos to the track team as well as the women's basketball team for representing TCU on the road... Keep up the good work Froggies!

Life: Be sure you're washing your hands and drinking plenty of fluids so you can stay healthy...

It's been fun, see you next week!

Au revoir,
- Elisa
