NORMAN, Okla. -- TCU women’s golfer Emmy Martin is at No. 25 in the initial Arnold Palmer Cup rankings for the 2018 spring season.

Martin has a team-best 71.4 stroke average that is on pace to break her school record 72.9 mark from last season, when she earned All-Big 12 recognition.

A senior from Odessa, Fla., Martin posted three top-20 finishes, including a pair in the top seven, in TCU's four fall tournaments. She shot par or better in eight of her 12 rounds.

The top six golfers from the final Arnold Palmer Cup ranking in the spring from both the United States and International men and women, 12 total golfers, will be among the 24 individuals selected to compete in the Arnold Palmer Cup July 6-8. The remaining six men’s and women’s spots for the United States will consist of committee selections.

The Arnold Palmer Cup ranking awards bonus points for wins and high finishes and a penalty for poor finishes. The ranking also contains a strength of schedule component.
