AUSTIN, Texas - The Horned Frog women's golf team travels down the road for March 11-13's Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational in Austin, Texas. Sophomore Camille Blackerby, ranked 83rd individually in the latest Golfweek polls, leads the No. 33 Frogs in the highly competitive tournament.

The University of Texas hosts the invitational at the University of Texas Golf Club, a 6,323 yard, 72-par course to be played in 54 holes, 18 each of the three days. The 17-team field features 13 teams in the nation's top 50, including No. 1 Duke, No. 7 Arizona State, No. 8 Oklahoma State, No. 12 Missouri, No. 17 Arkansas, No. 21 Tulsa, No. 24 Texas, No. 26 SMU, No. 31 California, No. 34 Baylor, No. 37 Texas A&M, and No. 39 Oklahoma.

Individually, eight of the nation's top 20 golfers will challenge the TCU golfers. They include No. 1 Louise Stahle of Arizona State, No. 2 Karin Sjodin of Oklahoma State, No. 3 Brittany Lang of Duke, No. 4 Elizabeth Janangelo of Duke, No. 9 Annie Thurman of Oklahoma State, No. 13 Maria Ohlsson of Missouri, No. 17 Stacy Lewis of Arkansas, and No. 19 Sofie Andersson of California.

Senior D'Rae Ward (76.41 season avg, 68 career low), junior Traci Robison (78.81 season avg, 73 career low), sophomores Blackerby (75.57 season avg, 70 career low), Elin Emanuelsson (77.18 season avg, 72 career low), and Catherine Matranga (76.14 season avg, 70 career low) represent the Frogs.

Last year's individual title went to Vanderbilt's Chris Brady (72-77-77=226) and the team trophy went to Vanderbilt (316-316-303=935. Live scoring will be available via Golfstat (www.golfstat.com) and complete results will be posted on www.TexasSports.com.
