No. 28 Horned Frogs Travel to Arizona

FORT WORTH, Texas - The Horned Frogs women's golf team heads west for April 1-3's 2005 PING/ASU Invitational in Tempe, Ariz. Eight top 20 teams will keep the Horned Frogs on their toes.

Of the tough 17-team field, TCU is one of 13 teams to be ranked in the top 50 to compete in the 2005 PING/ASU Invitational, hosted by Arizona State. No. 7 Arizona State, No. 20 Arizona, No. 26 California, No. 12 New Mexico, New Mexico State, Northern Arizona, No. 33 Oregon, Oregon State, No. 5 Pepperdine, San Jose State, No. 19 Stanford, No. 2 UCLA, No. 18 USC, No. 22 Texas, No. 24 Tulsa and No. 8 Washington await the No. 28 Horned Frogs at the Karsten Golf Course on the campus of ASU in Tempe.

The par 72, 6,230 yard course will be played in a 54 hole format (18-18-18=54) with tee times beginning at 8 a.m. Mountain Standard Time from tees No. 1 and No. 10 Friday through Sunday. Last year's individual title went to UCLA's Charlotte Mayorkas for the second year in a row (207) and the team trophy went to UCLA (861).
