TCU Women's Golfers Head to Lady Boilermaker in Indiana

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Horned Frog women's golf team travels to Indiana for April 9-10's Lady Boilermaker Invitational in West Lafayette, Ind.. Sophomore Camille Blackerby, ranked 57th individually in the latest Golfweek polls, leads the No. 28 Frogs in the midwestern tournament.

Purdue University hosts the invitational at the Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex on the Kampen Course, a 5,900 yard, 72-par course to be played in 54 holes (36 holes Saturday, 18 Sunday). The 14-team field features six teams in the nation's top 50, including No. 25 Michigan, No. 34 Purdue, No. 35 Kent State, No. 39 Texas A&M, and No. 49 East Carolina. A slew of Big 10 schools dot the rest of the roster of Iowa State, Indiana, Jacksonville State, Kansas, Minnesota, Notre Dame, Northwestern and Wisconsin.

Senior D'Rae Ward, sophomores Camille Blackerby, Elin Emanuelsson and Catherine Matranga and freshman Elisa Gomez represent the Frogs.

This is the Frogs' last tournament before the Conference USA Championship tourney April 18-20.
