Camille Blackerby Selected to ESPN the Magazine's Academic All-District First Team

FORT WORTH, Texas - ESPN the Magazine and CoSIDA selected TCU women's golfer Camille Blackerby as one of the 12 student-athletes in district VI to earn academic all-district for the 2004-05 season.
Blackerby, a sophomore from Breckenridge, Texas, has maintained a 3.91 GPA on a 4.0 scale while studying mechanical engineering at TCU. She spent the entire season ranked in the top 70 individually, finishing 65th overall in 2005 with a 73.03 stroke average and four top-10 tournament finishes. Twice, she finished tied for second during the season, including the Lady Puerto Rico Classic and the Lady Boilermaker Invitational. She has a career low round of 70 and a career low total of 220.
Horned Frog women's tennis senior Story Tweedie-Yates joined Blackerby on the first team academic all-district VI women's at-large squad with a 4.0 in psychology, while women's tennis senior Paige Brown earned a spot on the second team with a 3.91 in early childhood education.
