Trought Garners All-America Accolades on Day Two

EUGENE, Ore. -- Sophomore Brittney Trought finished 12th in the 100-meter hurdles and earned Second-Team All-America honors at the NCAA Track & Field Championships on Thursday.

Trought, a native of Aledo, Texas, put a stamp on an impressive first year at TCU by garnering All-America accolades to cap her sophomore season. Trought finished with a wind-legal time of 13.28 in the 100 hurdle semifinals at Hayward Field.

Up next for the Horned Frogs in Eugene will be freshman Ryan Camp in the discus and junior Scotty Newton in the triple jump on Friday. Action is scheduled to begin at 7:05 p.m. CT.
